Uplift Campaigns is a digital and targeted media firm for Democratic campaigns and progressive political organizations. Experts at building digital programs from the ground up, leveraging data to maximize candidates impact and utilizing our design expertise to make content stand out.
Uplift Campaigns makes a difference on races. They helped flip some of the toughest congressional districts in the country. They've elected governors, mayors, state legislators, county supervisors and city council members. They've won ballot propositions and led progressive issue organizations.
Working for Uplift Campaigns (Formerly Saguaro Strategies) for the last two years has been an amazing opportunity for me. I was excited to find out our team of designers would be rebranding the company.
Research
Our original company name was Saguaro Strategies. This gave us many issues with how our company was perceived. Our teams research explains our options as we rebrand or go with a new brand.
New Brand
With the HERtime. website, the client preferred it to be simple and straightforward. I created a logo motion design video that plays as you enter the website, highlighting Katie Hill's return to the political space after her time in congress. From there, keeping the branding colors was important to the client as it was her original campaign colors when she ran for office.
Website
The Uplift website is the company's first wall the clients see. I thought it'd be important to have something eye-catching on the first page. I created a gradient motion design that loops perfectly.
I wanted to make sure the overall site was simple but engaging and everything felt professional but creative.
