No On J


No on Measure J is a ballot proposition I was assigned to design their social media feed, branding, and Hulu Advert in 2020. This was a difficult task at the time considering COVID-19 and lockdown in the San Francisco area. I was not able to physical shoot anything for the video ad or get real photos of actual people this measure was aiming to help.


Measure J was created to allocate 10% of funds that put money in fixing homelessness, emergency services and public safety into private enterprises like prisons. Although the ballot measure has the bullet points to say what the money could go to, it will be out of the government's' hands when it is given. The Los Angeles County Budget manager was quoted to say there was no telling what that 10% would actually be spent on.
